This notice explains what personal data we collect through tradecruiser.com, why, who handles it and what rights you have.

We collect your email address only if you register your interest.
We use it only to tell you about our course.
This website sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising trackers.

1. Who we are

Tradecruiser LLC ("we", "us", "TradeCruiser") is a limited liability company with its legal base in the United States of America. Our address in England is Union House, 111 New Union Street, Coventry, England, CV1 2NT. We operate this website and decide how the personal data described here is used (the "controller"). You can reach us at zh@tradecruiser.com or at our address in England.

2. What we collect, and why

Your email address, when you register your interest through the form. We use it to contact you about the TradeCruiser course. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and UK GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, and every message we send you will include a way to opt out.
A record of your consent: the date and time, and the version of this notice you agreed to. We keep it to be able to show that consent was given. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in demonstrating compliance (Article 6(1)(f)).
Technical data that our hosting provider processes automatically when you visit: IP address, browser type, and date and time of the request. It is used to deliver the site securely and to prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not ask for your name, phone number or any sensitive information, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

We use service providers who process data on our instructions:

Vercel Inc. hosts and delivers the website.
Web3Forms receives the form submission and delivers it to us by email. It stores submissions for up to three years unless they are deleted earlier. To prevent spam it may pass the submitter's IP address and email address to anti-spam services (CleanTalk and Akismet). It operates from India and uses infrastructure from Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Hetzner.
Microsoft provides the email system in which we receive the submission.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

4. International transfers

Our legal base is in the United States, so the personal data you give us is also handled by us in the United States. Our providers may process data outside the country where you live too, including in the United States and India. When personal data is transferred from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, it is protected by safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your email address for up to 24 months from the day you registered, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Copies held by our providers are deleted within their own limits (at most three years at Web3Forms). Server logs are kept only for as long as needed for security and are then deleted by the hosting provider.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting what was done before. To use any of these rights, write to zh@tradecruiser.com. We reply within one month.

You may also complain to your local data protection authority, for example the supervisory authority of your EU country or, if you are in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

California residents: you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to have it deleted or corrected, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA. We apply the same rights to visitors from any other country.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use cookies or similar technologies such as local storage or tracking pixels, and it uses no analytics, advertising or social media trackers. Fonts and code are served from the website itself, so your browser does not contact third parties when the page loads. The only contact with a third party happens when you submit the form, which sends your submission to Web3Forms.

Because we do not set non-essential cookies, there is no cookie banner. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent before setting anything and update this section first.

8. Children

This website is intended for professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and access to submissions is limited to the people who need it to contact you about the course.

10. Changes to this notice

We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top. The version you agreed to is recorded with your registration.
